The goal of the publishing division is to help industry professionals build their professional competencies in communication. The publishing division is home to Flip This Risk® Books, an award-winning branded book series that focuses on risk management practices across all industries.

What is the mission of 62 Media Publishing?

Flip This Risk® Books is a spinoff of the award-winning Flip This Risk® Podcast, which started in 2017. The book series is thought of as the Dummies-type book for risk management.

Our books are at the intersection of diversity, literacy, and sustainability.

Risk management is a critical skill set in today's business environment. Its importance was elevated during the pandemic. As a result, hiring for risk management professionals has been on the rise in the post-pandemic. As a continuously growing field, there must be representation not just in risk management roles but also in the industry literature in the publications to shape future thought leadership.

"Risk management services is a multi-billion dollar industry, yet most industry books listed on the Amazon Top 100 risk management list are written by non-BIPOC authors," says Hardy. "I want to change that dynamic by inviting a diversity of perspectives to the writing process," she adds.

There are three goals for the publications.

    • Increase diversity in risk management publications
    • Simplify complex industry content
    • Create shorter eco and environmentally-friendly books

What are the benefits of working with 62 Media Publishing?

The book series allows SMEs to engage in unique continuing education experiences by building their communication and storytelling skills and making a contribution to the curation of knowledge for the industry.
